Westland Lysander II N1256
Here we see Westland Lysander N1256 when it was serving with No.225 Squadron in the UK. This aircraft later moved to India and was lost on 20 March 1942 when it crashed on a practice flight from Kohat. At the time it was being flown by Plt Officer Shankar Chakravarthy (or Chakravorty) of No.4 Squadron, Indian Air Force, who was killed in the crash.
