Major General Leese addresses Royal Artillery, Ramree Island
Here we see Lt General Sir Oliver Leese, commander-in-chief of Allied Land Forces, South-East Asia, during the Allied reconquest of Burma, addressing men of the Royal Artillery on Ramree Island, which fell to the Allies in January-February 1945.
