Lancaster Mk.I 'PO-S'

This picture shows Robert S. Tucker standing in front of Lancaster B.Mk I R5868 PO-S 'S for Sugar', the first Lancaster to complete 100 missions. She is now the oldest surviving Lancaster and is on display at the RAF Museum, Hendon. The start of quote from a speech by Göring ('No enemy plane will fly over the Reich territory') can just been seen over Robert's shoulder.

Pictures provided by Sgt. Robert S. Tucker Sr. (Member of: The American Air Museum in Britain {Duxford} ).
