Here we see a Kawasaki Ki-100 from below showing how well its radial engine had been installed on an aircraft originally designed for an inline engine. The resulting aircraft was one of the best Japanese aircraft of the Second World War, and was one of the few capable of coping with the best American aircraft of 1945.
