Kaiser Wilhelm II meets Enver Pasha on Yavuz Sultan Selim
Here we see Kaiser Wilhelm II greeting Enver Pasha on the Yavuz Sultan Selim (the former Moltke class battlecruiser SMS Goeben), during the Kaiser's third state visit to Turkey in October 1917 (the previous two were in 1889 and 1898). The gift of the Goeben had helped convince the Ottoman Empire to side with Germany in the First World War.
