Here we see troops from the 1st Jewish Infantry Brigade Group, firing a 3in Mortar somewhere in Italy, probably during the Spring Campaign of 1945. The Brigade made its combat debut in March 1945 and took part in the advance across the Senio at the start of Operation Buckland, the battle of the Argenta Gap.
