Hungarians with Schwarzlose MG, Eastern Front, 1944
Here we see two Hungarians firing a Schwarzlose Machine Gun, somewhere on the southern flank of the Eastern Front in the first half of 1944. The Schwarzlose was a pre-First World War Austro-Hungarian machine gun but it remained in use with the Empire's successor states into the Second World War.
