HMS Savage from the right

Here we see the Beagle class destroyer HMS Savage from the right, showing her original layout with two torpedo tubes close to the stern, seperated by a 12-pounder gun on a platform. During the First World War most members of this class had the rear torpedo tube and gun removed to make way for depth charges. Also note the unusual shape of the air intake just behind the bridge.
