HMS Menestheus from the left
Here we see the auxiliary minelayer HMS Menestheus, originally built as a Blue Funnel Liner in 1929 and used on the Northern Barrage during the war, before later becoming an amenities ship as part of the support train of the British Pacific Fleet.
