Aircraft taking off from HMS Furious
Here we see an aircraft taking off from HMS Furious, one of the earliest British aircraft carriers. Here we see her in her final configuration, with a continuous flight deck, although an unusually short one, with the original cruiser hull extending beyond it at either end.
