Henschel Hs 126B in Austria, 1945

Here we see British troops examining an abandoned Henschel Hs 126B in Austria in June 1945. By the end of the war the Hs 126 was no longer being used as a reconnaisance aircraft, but instead as a night harassment bomber and a trainer. In the background is an Arado Ar 96 advanced trainer in Hungarian markings, and behind that is a Siebel Si 204 liaison aircraft, although the rounded nose of that type is somewhat hidden by a rounded object further back.
