Oil Refineries at Hamburg bombed, 20 June 1944
Here we see smoke rising from Hamburg after the Eighth Air Force's mission 425 in which hundreds of B-17s bombed seven refineries in the city. On the same day another force of B-17s bombed a refinery at Magdeburg and B-24s bombed one near Hanover.
