US Troops in German defensive position near Cherbourg
Here we see two US soldiers taking shelter in a German defensive position somewhere near Cherbourg. The circular feature in the centre suggests that this was a gun position, with the gun removed. Also note the German pillbox in the background, which must have been a commanding feature.
