German attack on Tobruk, 20 or 21 July 1942
Here we see part of the final German assault on Tobruk, probably taken on 20 July 1942, when the Germans penetrated the wire. From this angle it isn't very easy to identify the tank, but the shape of the turret and lack of cupola suggests that this is a Panzer II.
