German armour destroyed by Typhoons
Here we see a selection of German armoured vehicles that have been destroyed by rocket firing Typhoons during the fighting in Normandy. In the centre of the picture is a dramatically dis-assembled Panzer IV, with the superstructure blown off the rest of the tank. The vehicle on its side on the right is probably a half track, similar to the one in the background.
