Log book for Lt D.W. Gay - 21 January-3 February 1944

This page from Lt. D.W. Gay's Log Book covers his flying experiences from 21 January to 29 February 1944, when he was undergoing training at No.45 Air School. In this period he flew thirteen times for a total of 25 hours in the air. Twelve flights were in the Avro Anson (mainly navigation training), and one in the Airspeed Oxford for bombing training. It is notable that he flew in a wide range of different aircraft, an dnever flew in the same aircraft twice in a row in this period.

Many thanks to Martin Hampton, the son in law of Lt. Gay, for sending us this material.
