Rear view of Blackburn Firebrand I prototype

Here we see a Bristol Firebrand F.I from the rear, during flight tests from HMS Illustrious in the Clyde. The Firebrand I and II both used the inline Sabre engine and early Spitfire type cockpit, but this particular aircraft is the second prototype (the first to carry guns), during tests in February 1943.
