Fiat G.55 Centauro from the Left
Here we see the Fiat G.55 Centauro, one of the best Italian fighters of the Second World War. It was powered by a license built version of the Daimler-Benz DB 605, and was considered to be on a par with the best German fighters of 1943, although only a handful were produced by wartime standards.
