Fairey Firefly II S1592 in flight
Here we see a Fairey Firefox II in Belgium service with the Belgian serial number S1592. The Firefox had lost out to the Hawker Fury for the RAF contract, but Belgium ordered 25 to be built in Britain and more to be built by Fairey's subsidiary in Belgium.
