Here we see the Curtiss Model J no.29, the very first of the series that led to the famous Curtiss Jenny. This view shows the aircraft in its original configuration, with equal span two bay wings. The relatively light weight of these early aircraft is being demonstrated by the man holding up the aircraft's tail!
