Curtiss NC-3 at Rockaway, 1919
Here we see the Curtiss NC-3 at NAS Rockaway on Long Island in April-May 1919, just before it took part in the first succesful trans-Atlantic flight (although NC-3 itself only reached the Azores). Note the four engined configuration, with three tractors and one pusher.
