Curtiss NC-1 with record breaking passengers
Here we see the Curtiss NC-1 at Naval Air Station Rockaway on 27 November 1918, two days after it set a record by carrying 51 men into the air! This picture shows all 51 of those people, kaing it clear just how imnpressive an achievement it had been to fit them all inside the aircraft!
