Curtiss HS-1 on the runway, Aber Wrach

Here we see a group of American sailors pulling a Curtiss HS-1 flying boat up the runway at the Naval Air Station at Aber Wrac'h in Finistère, at the western tip of Brittany. This aircraft had just flown a four hour long patrol on 28 October 1918.
