This letter of appreciation was sent to Flight Lieutenant C.W.J. Claydon when he left No.120 Squadron in September 1942. Three months later he was ordered back to Northern Ireland, to take over the medical stores at Ballykelly.
Many thanks to Peter Claydon for sending us these pictures, which belonged to his father, C.W.J. Claydon, who spent much of the war serving as a medical officer with No.120 Squadron at Ballykelly, Northern Ireland.
