Petard on Churchill AVRE
Here we see the massive Petard mortar carried on the Churchill AVRE, and which could fire a 40lb high explosive shell known as the Flying Dustbin. This was designed to destroy German strongpoints, but had quite short range and could only be reloaded from the outside, so was of limited use.
