Plans of Brewster F2A-2 Buffalo
Here we see plans of the RAF version of the Brewster F2A-2 Buffalo, which was actually less powerful than the American original. As these plans show it had a rather short and stubby fuselage, but otherwise resembles the later but more succesful Grumman carrier fighters.
