Boeing F4B-1 of VB-1B on USS Lexington (CV-2)
Here we see a Boeing F4B-1 of VB-1B either taking off or landing on USS Lexington (CV-2) - the wheels are still on the deck but the tail is in the air. The lack of an arrestor wires suggests this is a takeoff. The F4B-1 can be identified by the lack ofn an engine cowling.
