Here we see Messerschmitt Bf 109 V.3 in flight over Augsburg at some point in 1936. V.3 carried the same pair of machine guns in the upper fuselage as the earlier prototypes, but also added a third machine gun, carried in the engine and firing through the centre of the spinner. All three can be seen here.
