This engraving shows Captain Sir Edward Berry, Nelson's flag captain on HMS Vanguard at the Battle of the Nile. This was the high point of his career, although he did command HMS Agamemnon at Trafalgar and served at sea from then until the end of the Napoleonic Wars.
