Allied Fleet off Cherbourg
Here we see part of the Allied fleet that bombarded Cherbourg during the US advance towards the port. From left to right we we see the American battleship USS Nevada (BB-36) , a US destroyer, the cruiser USS Quincy (CA-71), an second US destroyer and on the right the British cruiser HMS Glasgow.
