Captured Albatros D.V from the left
Here we see British servicemen examining an Albatros D.V which fell intact into Allied hands after the pilot made a forced landing at Feuchy. The picture was taken on 7 March 1918, the month before production of the D.V came to an end. From this angle we can see the fairly streamlined fuselage, and the much smaller lower wing of the D.V.
