Here we see a frontal view of the Albatros C.V, showing the large spinner, the ungainly looking exhaust (jutting up from the fuselage just to the left of the picture), and the arrangement of wing struts and bracing wires. The engine was fully enclosed in the cowling, so the black blobs on top of the fuselage is probably the fixed forward firing machine gun.
