VADs on parade, Buckingham Palace, 1918
Here we see a group of VADs on parade in the grounds of Buckingham Palace, part of a procession of 3,000 female war workers who presented an address of homage to King George V and Queen Mary to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary in the summer of 1918.
