Berthing Compartment, USS Yorktown (CV-5)
Here we see a crew berthing compartment on USS Yorktown (CV-5) on 4 august 1937, two months before she was commissioned. This is quite a cramped space, with little room between the bunks and the lockers, and with rather cluttered with obstructions.
