Stinson OY-1 takes off from USS White Plains (CVE-66)
Here we see a Stinson OY-1 Grasshopper taking off from the Casablanca class escort carrier USS White Plains (CVE-66) on 18 June 1944. In USAAF service this aircraft was known as the Stinson L-5 Sentinel.
