USS Warrington (DD-383) from Blimp ZP12
This veiw of the Somers class destroyer USS Warrington (DD-383) was taken from the Blimp ZP12 on 9 August 1944. From above we get a good view of the ship's layout at this date, with superfiring turrets forward, a single turret aft, and its torpedo tubes on either side of the single funnel. Also note the pairs of anti-aircraft guns in tubs on either side of the aft torpedo tubes (added since she was built) and the depth charge rack at the stern.
