This picture shows the unusual twin 4in/50 forward gun on Caldwell class destroyer USS Stockton (DD-73), as seen from the pilothouse. The lack of space as the crew load both guns at the same time perhaps explains why the other Caldwell class destroyers retained the normal single gun.
