Captain's Stateroom, USS Saratoga (CV-3), c.1930
Here we see a Captain's or Flag Officer's Stateroom on the Lexington class carrier USS Saratoga (CV-3), circa 1930. On the mantel above the fire there is a photograph of Captain Harry E. Yarnell, the ship's first Commanding Officer, although the details are rather hard to make out here.
