Sailors on aft bridge, USS Saratoga (ACR-2)

Here we see sailors on the after bridge of the armoured cruiser USS Saratoga (ACR-2), c.1912-1914, soon after she first changed her name.

This ship went through three names and two designations. From 1893-1911 she was USS New York (ACR-2). From 1911-1917 she was USS Saratoga (ACR-2). From 1917-1920 she was USS Rochester (ACR-2). From 1920 until she was scuttled in 1941 she was USS Rochester (CA-2).
