USS S P Lee (DD-310) at Honda Point
Here we see the Clemson class destroyer USS S P Lee (DD-310) after she ran aground at Honda Point, during the worst peacetime loss of US navy ships. The S P Lee came to rest parallel to the rocks, but attempts to save her continued until the day after the disaster.
