Here we see the New Orleans class heavy cruiser USS Quincy (CA-39) at New York on 29 May 1942. We are looking back from the bow towards the forward guns, with a number of recent changes illustrated. Even this early in the American involvement in the war, the main changes involve the anti-aircraft guns.
