Here we see the Combat Infomation Centre on the Cleveland class light cruiser USS Pasadena (CL-65) as it was on 21 November 1944. The CIC was where all available infomation on enemy and friendly ships and aircraft was brought together, and became a major part of the air defence of the fleet.
