USS Osmond Ingram (AVD-9) at Norfolk, 1943
Here we see the Clemson class destroyer USS Osmond Ingram (AVD-9) at Norfolk, Virginia on 10 July 1943. By 1943 she had stopped serving as a seaplane tender, and reverted to the destroyer role. She looks especially cluttered in this view, which appears to have been taken on laundry day! Also note the cluster of sailors around the depth charge racks at the stern.
