Starboard Machine Shop, USS Milwaukee (C-21)
Here we see the starboard machine shop of the St Louis class protected cruiser USS Milwaukee (C-21), located on the starboard side of the gun deck between frames 27 and 35. The port machine shop was located directly opposite this space, but was slightly larger. This picture was taken at Mare Island on 27 April 1916.
