View from bridge of USS Milwaukee (C-21), 1919
Here we see the view looking aft from the bridge of the St Louis class protected cruiser USS Milwaukee (C-21) on 29 April 1919, more than two years after she ran aground in Humbolt Bay, California. This central section looks fairly intact, but by this point she had already been cut in two by a storm and would soon be sold for scrap.
