USS Meredith (DD-890), 1970s
Here we see the Gearing class destroyer USS Meredith (DD-890) at sea in the 1970s. By this point she has had her FRAM upgrade, but unusually she has kept both of her forward 5in gun turrets, which she still had during her tiem in Turkish service in the 1980s.
