USS McCord (DD-534) anchored, 1943
Here we see the Fletcher class destroyer USS McCord (DD-534) anchored at some point in 1943. The most notable feature of this picture is that all of her 5in guns are pointing in different directions, and most are at high angles, but she didn't reach the war zone until the start of 1944, so this is unlikely to be because of any perceived threat.
