USS Massey (DD-778) off Naples, 1949
Here we see the Allen M Sumner class destroyer USS Massey (DD-788) off Naples on 5 July 1948. She is using her hoses to keep bum boat peddlers away, as this was the policy of both the US Navy and Italian government at the time.
