USS Macon (CA-132), Philadelphia, 1946
Here we see the Baltimore class cruiser USS Macon (CA-132) at Philadelphia on 29 October 1946, in her original configuration as an all gun cruiser. This picture shows her three main turrets (two forward and one aft) and the large number of secondary guns, starting with three of the twin 5in turrets around the bridge.
