Flag Plot on USS Louisville (CA-28), 1943
Here we see the aft-starboard corner of the Flag Plot, the Admiral's tactical and navigational control room, on the Northampton class heavy cruiser USS Louisville (CA-28). The picture was taken at Mare Island on 17 December 1943, between a spell of convoy escort in the north Pacific and combat duties in the south Pacific.
